I will not waste today.
I will live in my heart.
I will soar in my spirit,
To join things apart.

I will live without fear.
I will call those I should.
I will climb every mountain,
as if I always could.

I will not fight for anything.
I will surrender to all.
I will pick up my right foot,
an let my left fall.

Each moment will be precious.
Each second will be spent.
Each minute will be accounted for,
By living content.

------
Freedom is living life without needing perfection

ChristianAlbert - Good Advice
How did this one slip by me? I had not seen it before. I suspect that is the case with many people.

It's a golden nugget! The kind we should tape above our mirror and read each day.

I love your thoughful poems.

Re:Good Advice
I actually pulled this one, it sounded more like an affirmation than a poem. It is what it is, I am glad you enjoyed it. This affirmative poem reflects my attitude everyday, and everyday I seem to get a little closer to being my true soft fearless femanine self. Thanks for commenting, I value your feedback.
