--the cards poking out from under bed--

Holding cards (painted pictures)
with little notes added
for kids and friends
some years remember to send
some years don't. Under bed
a tattered box
with to many forgot
waiting for another year
where they might get used
though probably not.

Old briefcase hiding under desk
xxxx filled with unsent letters, birthday cards
guess I didn't forget you,
but was to ashamed
to send a note after all that time
you hadn't heard from me.

I like..
for the idea but needs some stopping because of the lack of puncuation i don't know where to stop or how fast to really read it.

problematic
I think the images are problematic, and the typo, "hslf filled with unsent letters" rather distracting. The word poke for the card is something I find awkward as well... maybe it's just me. No offense meant, just poetry.
