Tell me something, anything; cover it with sweet emotion to restore my faith again
I know you're watching, you've never taken your eyes off me in all this time
Through the cruel ring of colour in my eye, the spark is gone and you wonder why
What you don't see anymore is the inside; it's a place even I don't know so well
I stand alone beside myself, to consider myself and searching for a missing piece
Do what you have to not because I want you to, because I needed you not enough
Bring me to tears because I forgot what was so damn important to hold onto for so long
Collect each idea together before me and write the story out for my blinded heart

I thought your poem was powerful and emotional. Many times I feel that very way. The words go to together well. Nice Job!
