Exhaustion
And I fall into your arms
Held until the world just dies away
Sleep
With you until the end of time
No world necessary
Beyond your eyes
Cry
For all I've lost
And all I've gained
Tears upom my cheek are swept away
Sing
The joy and sing the pain
Sing what words alone
Cannot explain
Sleep
With you until the end of time
No world necessary
Beyond your eyes

------
She falls softly down from towering pedastools...

Thanks
Of course, this was inspired by the love of my life... I was trying to portray what exactly it feels like to have that sort of assurance of intimacy. I'm glad you got my meaning. Thanks for the comment!

Nice portrayal!
Sure, I just feel my arms around you until the end of time(Daydreaming)
And I feel three: Your exhaustion is tender, your exhaustion is ture, your exhaustion is sensible!

ThanksFairgrace, Clark
Clark-- I'm glad you think that the 'exhaustion' lends something to the piece. The goal was to make it a very sweet moment in the way that being held jut before nodding off to sleep gives you.
Fairgrace-- I'm glad you like my word choice, I was trying to make it clear that he had not inspired those tears, he was curing them. Thanks for your comment!

Your style
You have a very unique writing style. I like it very much.

Thanks!
That is likely due to the fact that most everything I know about poetry I've taught myself, without much intervention from teachers or the books of masters. Only recently have I become interested in learning about poetry.
