I am tempted
She whispers
her ode to carnality
My biology screaming to concede
morality dieing to be heard
A devil at my side
no angel to guide me
Hormones and chromosomes
mixing with
perfume and pheromones
I fail
Giving in as slip
beneath the waves
The weight of my being
pulling me down to a
place better than heaven
Addicted to her body
I am ravenous for
my own destruction
Revolving but not evolving
I am lost
Falling to my knees
She is what I want
my prayers to be
Deprived of faith
My damnation sealed with a kiss

Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed.
-Dwight D. Eisenhower
