The bleary-eyed hurry and scurry
The blind hate, ignorant fury
Oblivious of its counterpart and content
Time to think of nothing, time well spent
Responsibility? What’ll you do with that one?
Here we sit, isn’t life so much fun
Everyone is assigned someone to live for
Learn to give again, learn to love more
Break down each individual wall
Crumbling pieces of ignorance, let e’m fall
Blueprints for life, password for love
Something to help us rise above
The ghetto lives that we’re living here
For the crowns that our pain will secure
Abandoned by hope, left here to die
Persecuted for our faith, it makes God cry
The tattoo on my heart is enough
The existence we have scraped together is rough
Nomads of necessity, we life as if
Today is our last and tomorrow we’ll be stiff
Living our lives for the God of the ages
Book of life, we’re filling the pages
