She said, "Goodbye
is such a word so certain
of itself".*

I told her,
Love though is so uncertain,
save for its masochism:

It demands I, and You
to sandwich it
and validate -

without which,
it cannot,
cannot be a word.

How does one say, thus:
"I love you...from
Can I be more cruel
than being certain
it cannot be my word?

Tell me I was wrong
to counter her, my friend.
See, now she's gone
and all I have
is you and your word.

*A found poem, Part lifted from a poem titled 'Closure, Jojo Ballo'

I liked that...
Honestly, I couldn't completely understand the exact jist of the poem but I really liked it and the way that it was written.
