"Anyone can give up. It is the easiest thing in the world to do but to hold it together when everyone would understand if you fell apart, that's true strength."

It's very often that I find myself analyzing my life. Normally, that creates a dark cloud over my head. The journey in my mind gets so harsh and tiring sometimes that I find myself wanting to just give up. It's such a hard feeling to endure because to me, giving up means surrendering, failing. In my eyes, putting up that white flag is unacceptable. At times, I think that may be one of the only things that stops me from letting go of everything and hiding under my covers for the rest of my life. Because I know that giving up is easy. Anyone can drop everything that ever meant something to them and just be some sort of hermit. Giving up says a lot about a person but not from a positive perspective. Giving up on your dreams and on other people is only giving up on yourself. Holding on, even in the worst possible scenarios, that says something respectful about one's character. Life is not always going to be a rainbow. All humans will experience hope, love, dreams, heartbreak, and even failure. To see a rainbow you must first stand out in the pouring rain, thunder, and sometimes even the worst of storms. Everybody has at least one hope or dream even if it is all the way crammed up in the back of their mind. Any thought that fills your mind as a dream has to be worth fighting for, failing for, and most of all, holding on for. People need to keep their composure and keep sight of their strength. Nothing is worth losing sight of your personal strength in values. Every person should find that thing that gives them the power to hold on, even if that thing is just the sheer purpose of not giving up.

When life throws us the most sour of lemons, don't let it sting your tongue, make some sweet lemonade. When life gets so tough and trouble seems like it is surrounding you, laugh in the face of those conflicts. As cliché as it may sound, always remember that true strength lies within you. Even when the rest of the world has long since given up on you, make it your personal duty to prove the world wrong. It takes true strength to keep hope but it must be remembered that hope is grief's best music. No matter what, life always goes on and the sun will always rise for a new day. Hold on, even if it's just by a fine line. Keep a death grip on that line no matter where it may lead you to.
