This is the age of corporate oppression
A time where money is worth more than human lives
Rich old men gather around a table
In an oversized,lavish building
Deciding our fates with their checkbooks

Poisoning our bodies and our democracy
Their Private interests are put above public good
The cost of living rises while jobs decrease
Minimum wage suppressed
Sweatshops in third-world countries
Produce our goods for mere pennies
While the rich fill their wallets and bank accounts

With the pain and suffering

Selling cancer and addiction is profitable
So it continues, no morals can stop it
Elected officials become their horses
The reigns are held tight
A roll of money, a share of stock
Dangling in front of them
So their pace is kept steady
