Somewhere there’s a little store
And behind its rusty door
You can pay a meager cost
To relive a moment lost

If you’re willing to pay the price,
You can have your first kiss twice
Others still may choose to spend,
To relive a talk with a fallen friend

You’re not allowed to make things right,
But at least you can relive that night
You cannot undo the past,
You made the choices, and they’ll last

So bring the money in your hand,
To lay once more on the soft warm sand
With a girl you lost and never found
And to hear the ocean’s familiar sound

And you’ll leave with your change and your tears
The sound of her voice ringing in your ears
But when you shut that rusty door
You know that you’ll come back for more.

Alex's "Shop" of memories...
Great idea. I know I'd "pay a meager cost" to go back to a few moments "lost"...Good read.
