ďThe Boy Who Died TryingĒ

Today I woke up
Feeling very alone
All I needed was
You to stay beside me
You walked over
to the door
Please, Iím only asking
For a couple minutes
And you shut the door
Ever so softly behind you
Now that youíve left me
When I felt like I needed you the most
Now Iím sitting here
With my eyes half closed
And feeling very alone
And I know by now
You must think itís a curse
For your lover to write songs

Today I woke up
Obviously a mistake
Please just a couple minutes
Obviously too much to ask

Iím tempted to ask my self
Why I even try
But then I find the reason
Itís because Iím in love
And I will try I will try until I die
I will try I will try until I die
Today I woke up
Obviously a mistake
Please just a couple minutes
Obviously too much to ask
And I know by now
You must think itís a curse
For your lover to write songs

jimmyrocketeer:"it's a curse"..
Ahh, yes, love lorn youth...I assume you are young..I recall writing such lyrics as a lad "in love"...Some good stuff here..I like the "obviously a mistake" and "obviously too much to ask" lines and the last two lines in "verses" are catchy...Keep writing and loving...
