I changed her diapers when she was small, even though I was only two years her elder. I protected her from our parents and their friends, bit a man because she was afraid of him. I kissed her boo boos, and cleaned her scrapes. I have looked on when she made mistakes, trying not to say I told you so. Letting her learn her own way. It was painful to see her stumble, but how else is she going to learn if she doesn't do it for herself? But now I don't know what to do. She has followed my footsteps down the road of young parenthood and I don't know how to help her... I want to say... I don't even know what to say! I'll love her through whatever she does or says or decides... I guess thats all I CAN say. I will be thare with her nomatter what.

The following comments are for "Teenie"

A love that's true
unconditional, unrequesting, unexpecting, does nourish the soul. This I thought was nice enough to be a poem....noticed it was in "Rants"....
Well how blessed "Teenie" is to have you on her side.
