Just when did you know?
I was a bulldozer going blindly
Through the thick forest
Full steam ahead.

I was once a lamb
Staying with the flock
But was weakened by temptation
Held tightly to the devils bottle.

To live in a black cave
As lonely as a bear
I awoke in the morning
Releasing anger everywhere.

The devils bottle now lies empty
How could my heart be so uncaring?
Knowing with deep despair
You would not be waiting there.

I knew there would be a price to pay
And now I endure the loss
For I had to fight this devil
No matter what the cost.

I pray that God will watch over you
Send you an Angel to keep you safe
I'll ask God for forgivness
With each sunrise and sunset I face.
