Photographs memories shot through a lens
Childhood perceptions, wrapped in innocence and a safety net
A palm of a hand wrinkles, unfolding the story of a life
Photographs lie, smile and your happy forever
They incarcerate time, compress and conceal it in a box
Pictures of coffee cups and wooden stools
The rain tumbles down into the city streets, again
Some people feel the rain; some people need to dance in a downpour
Take pictures, nature and all thatís good about the world encapsulated in a raindrop
The embodiment of hope, as it falls into a starving childís coarse palm
Without rain, there would be no blues, no freight trains howling on a stormy night
No windswept, rain spattered parking lots in winter
No pictures of wild flowers
In a world of tears, no smiles and melancholy ideologies
Sad eyed people and their streams of consciousness pouring down on the world of ghosts, fading photographs washed up upon a beach of memories

Wow

Wow, that is so true.

I also love your ending line

I can relate. It also boggles my mind how photographs can hide the evil in some eyes.

I myself love rain. I really think that more people should try walking in the rain....and splashing in the puddles.
