The bells will ring,
at that grand gate,
the angels sing,
your not too late.

Your name was there,
upon that list,
HE called you home,
to live in bliss.

No sorrows there,
no aches or pains,
the sun will shine,
even when it rains.

The others who,
have gone before,
youíll see again,
forever more.

Iíll miss you Nanny,
when your called home,
weíll meet again,
it wonít be long.

For I will live,
Iíll carry on,
until my Lord,
calls ME home.

Tears in my eyes....
I also have a "Nanny", my elderly grandmother, that hasn't been doing well lately and everyone is worried... I'd had these same same thoughts rattling around in my head lately but couldn't put them to paper like you did... I think partly because I'm not able to let her go. I admire your courage.

Thank you for the comment. I think it will be very hard to let her go when she passes. She raised me. I am trying to prepare myself for it because a while back, she asked me to sing at her funeral. I promissed her I would. Trust me when I say that I'd rather have her here with me!
