As the year 2004 comes to a close, and 2005 looms on the horizon, the staff at Lit.org wants to collectively thank all the members, old and new, for their wonderful writing, their submissions, their comments, their reading, and especially their presence which makes Lit.org what it is.

As many of you read in the recent newsletter, Majestic, there are many innovations planned for 2005 which will make Lit even better than it already is.

In the face of the problems we have tackled and, hopefully overcome this year, the staff of Lit.org wants to thank everyone for their patience, their understanding, and their general acceptance of the rules, even when they may disagree with them.

We all love Lit.org or we wouldn't be here. It is the best place on the internet to publish, improve, refine, and share a love of writing with other writers.

The Lit.Org staff, from Crowe down, sends their best wishes to you for 2005.

A message to all Staff
Claire and all the staff and members at Lit,

This site is a rare treasure, a place where you can come and go as you please, express views or not as the mood takes you. Write, read or ignore. Somewhere to have people enjoy your work and make you feel it is worthwhile. Take holidays and be welcomed back. Share problems and offer support.

It has trancended just a literary site to improve skills... it is a community with all the love and squabbles of a real family. It covers thousands of square miles and gives freedom to those who would otherwise be bound by circumstance.

Simply, thank you and I would wish everybody a very happy new year and especially thank the staff for allowing Lit to become what it is.

Tomorrow I am 59 years old, I am a very open person and get to know people easily, but the sense of belonging I have found here at Lit is second to none. I will not mention names but there are people who have supported me and people I feel I have helped along the way. I have seen people grow spiritually and been able to share their progres. I have grown and shared my experiences.

Claire you say:

'We all love Lit.org or we wouldn't be here. It is the best place on the internet to publish, improve, refine, and share a love of writing with other writers. '

I would alter this slightly:

We all love our community or we would not keep returning. It is the best place on the internet to grow spiritually and share our love of living with our friends.

A Very Happy New Year to All!

Have Fun,

Ivor

Happy New Year Lit
Warm blessings of peace and joy to all staff. I have only been in the fold since June 2004.

I had such a warm welcome upon my arrival, thanks to Claire, that I settled right in and felt completely at home with this new family of mine.

If it were not for this web sight i may not have been able to sink myself into such a creataive, expressive and productive mode. You all have given me new direction with reading, writing and commenting.

Outstanding concept Chrispian and thanks so much for making it available to all of us. I look forward to seeing what 2005 has ahead for lit.org

Happy New Year Lit.Org!
Serendipity, as defined in the dictionary, is the happy faculty of discovering something new and wonderful, unexpectedly! I daresay that is true for most of us here at Lit. Whether by happenstance or word of mouth, we have indeed discovered something wonderful here at Lit. And it is all due to our founder, Chris/Crowe and his hardworking staff.

Kudos and Happy New Year to all, including Claire, Jess, Bart and Spud. Lit is in great hands due to your hard work all year.

Kudos also to all of you wonderful members who recognized it's worth and have chosen to post your work here and enabled us to grow and help aspiring writers to achieve thier highest potential.

Happy New Year and love to you all

Grandma Bea
