May the love of Christ surround you
On this blessed Holy day
May your home be filled with loved ones
Who've come home this Christmas Day
May the peace of God bless families
Who will be sad this holiday
As they face the empty chair
Of a soldier far away
May the compassion of Our Lord
Comfort those who mourn
The loss of one they cherished
On this lonely Christmas morn
May we be open to his blessings
As we celebrate his birth
And humbly pray that he will bring
A lasting peace on earth

Ma Bea
Ma, it's Christmas eve here and I am just dropping by to read your poem (which I know for sure there'll be one about Christmas) and of course to have some of your promised baked (cyber)lasagna, MMMMhhh!

My hugs to you, dear handsome lady.

And since I know everyone's going to read this - let me just greet everyone via this page. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!

Love,
Peter
