Dear you, I woke up this morning
acid rain just came down, pouring
I guess some things were made to break
looking back now, it seemed so fake
your lies, they burned like fire
but I just got so tired.
I miss every kiss in vein
and I'd go to the edge of the world
just to feel that again
and I miss every kiss in vein
and I'd give up everything
just to have another kiss in vein.
Now I'm holding tight to memories
wondering if I'll ever feel what used to be
the bricks of pain were worth it all
the countless smiles were worth the fall
but I guess sometihngs were made to break
so 'goodbye' was the risk I had to take.
but I miss every kiss in vein
and I'd go to the edge of the world
just to feel that again
and I miss every kiss in vein
and I'd give up everything
just to have another kiss in vein.
but for now I'll hold tight to those memories
and wonder if again I could pay that fee.

vein?
did you mean vain? vein is like a blood vein...it doesn't really work with your poem.

Oops should've been 7
Hillary, sorry I meant to rate this a 7 but my damn finger slipped. Reason for marking down to a 7 is the 'vein - vain' thing. It really does throw everything out, I'd love to see a re-write though.
Take care
