She pauses and sneezes then picks
Out the daisies
Her fingers are numb, yet she seeks
Out the fairies

Inside their hive he longs
For her cries
He strokes his arm then smiles
At the skies.

On their wall hangs a whip;
On their floor stays the blood.
He, with a missing rib,
On her, he broke his hand.

Amidst the blooms and greens
A thought occurs to her:
Why not pick out the best
And send it to the river?

As she decides
At last she smiles.

She wraps her arms
Around her body
Heavy with child.

Thanks Vodka
I didn't know how to end my poem, that's why... or maybe I was just too lazy to think. Just the same, I wanted my last line to be the final line. It was past midnight and I thought my bed was tempting me to get some rest. And I gave in to the temptation! Or maybe I was just too excited to submit my poem.

You encourage me though to try some more. I hope you will read some of my poems again. I've read some of your works and enjoyed them especially the "so low" thing. I don't feel I have the right to give my comments though as I am just a beginner.

Again, thanks a lot! :-)

Why can't I see your posts, specifically the poems? Did you undelete them?

Hope you're doing well.

Regards,
Jabeelah
