It hurts to be outside today
This cold is biting through my sleeves
Gnawing away at what I knew
And all these fading memories

Tuck me in to my lonely sheets
Just another night like this
Donít worry, I can make it one more night
But I canít make any other promises

My hands are so red and dry
Cracking at the knuckles
My only defense is failing me
Peeling back, showing my underneath

This weaker side of me is getting the best of me
But I donít have the strength to fight it
Some one tell me you love me
I think thatís all I need to go on

This dark corner is all I have to call home
And these sides are starting to close in
Making me smaller and smaller
My hope is wearing thin

I wonít make it out of this one alive
This place seems so familiar
Have I gotten lost here before
Because I donít remember the way out

This weaker side of me is getting the best of me
But I donít have the strength to fight it
Some one tell me you need me
I think thatís all I need to go on

Do you need me to breathe
Youíve convinced me to believe
That thatís the only thing you can do around me

This silence is oh so deadly
