Okay, I'm new at this. I just joined yesterday, so I'm trying something new.
In October, I went to my homecoming with a friend. And now, he wants to be more than friends.
I've held him off with the fact that my parents prefer that i don't date until i'm older, like sixteen. Which is the truth.
Lately, I heard a rumor that i don't know if i should believe it or not. I heard that he raped a girl in my class.
Believe me, this freaked me out!!
I was soo scared, that night i couldn't sleep becuase i kept thinking that it could of been me. What am i to do? Tell him that i think we would be better as friends, and that dating would totally ruin my relationship. But what if the rumor was a lie, then what am i supposed to do?

dating
Hi Genevieve89, my middle daughter is 15 and has been happily dating the same boy for a few months. But this boy came into our lives through other friends, and we knew he could be trusted, so far he has proved to be nothing but a gentleman.
If you are already experiencing doubts, then follow your instincts and back off. You may not be ready for all of this. My oldest daughter never started dating until she was 17 because she didn't feel comfortable about it.

Best of luck
Kimberly

Drama
you are still too young to have to deal with drama like that so steer clear from the guy, and find someone with a respectable reputation.
