Existence

Why must you take it all away,
Every drop of precious blood?
Bled dry, veins full of poison,
Infected by eternal sorrow.

You stripped all my defences
Defeated my greatest attacks
Gloated over proved weakness
Exploited pain, removed hope.

Tears of joy no longer fall,
Stinging tears now scorch,
Stain my face, vile betrayal.
No escape, everlasting pain.

My prescence a burden to you
Mind a toy to entertain you
Happiness here for you to steal
Suffering bare for you to enrich.

Sadistic is your strict nature
All for one, nothing for me
All just pawns in your sport
Lifes verses Death, eternal game.

Life, the antagonist of pain
Death, ones release, ones grief.
Existence, denial of a true life
Oblivion, the myth of blissful death.

Take me to oblivion, I am ready
End my existence, I want it
Take mt life, it's not worth keeping
End my pain, take me instead!

Death Wins, Game Over!

------
Give me a reason to love life
Prove to me happiness is real
Show me the undying light of hope
And I will cast away the darkness.

Missed?
Anything that is on lit.org now is new stuff... I wrote this one last on the monday just gone when I felt angry at the world. There is no character in this poem, all the 'you' references are simply aimed at the title of the poem. So in your quote I am a burden upon life, upon existence, it doesn't want me. Life kicks me when I am down and out, when I sleep and when I wake. It doesn't care if I am happy or sad, it kicks me all the same and when it can't kick me t kicks my family. Thats what this poem is about. Death, is in fact the only way out. And no, I am not suicidal, just morbid.

Not morbid
I thought it was deep and provoked thought. Made me depressed slightly but I am easily depressed.
