Friend, you have chosen well, your path
Your prison. And rapist of kindest mind
Your chosen binds; designer, rare
Lay soft to skin, the fabric
Place pennies at His feet
Beg abuse in the folds of a boutique buy
And rest, in a cell of multicoloured chains
Drown slowly in the pit, of scent
Blonde threads and contact lense
Watch lines deepen, friend
You have chosen well, your path
For freedom was never your fate

evocative
interesting imagery that tells you something but you're not sure what. like hearing "I love you" in Japanese.

I'm impressed.

Backward Unique
Hi, this was great! A little know fact about me is that I enjoy reading a book backward. I am not sure why, I just do. I will open a book from the back and read thus. This poem felt right to me...it hit the spot.
