I canít help but wonder if when you look at her youíre not thinking of me
Because I know Iíve been thinking about you
Your sapphire eyes are all I see
No matter if my eyes are open or closed

Iíll still leave you to wonder
If this is all about you
All I know is when I go back home
I regret not seeing your face
Maybe this is really home..

Iíll remain in the shadows
I would never come between you and her
Just know Iíll be waiting on the sidelines
Even though this is all so unsure

Iíd take a risk of wasting time for you
Losing out is worth the possibility
Iíll prepare for a let down
But hope never loses its ability

My heart is open wide
Anticipating the size of yours
To perfectly fit inside

But Iíll still leave you to wonder
If this is all about you
All I know is when I go back home
I regret not seeing your face
I think Iím home..

Intriguing
There's a lot to like in here -- delightful bitterness and suspicion and coiled rage and a sense of cunning -- but there's something missing, as I read it. Perhaps a tighter structure, some sort of beat, would perfect it.
