Had It All Again

You’ve got to wonder
If you had it all again
You’re life run over
What’d you do different?

Would you walk another road?
A mile in someone else’s shoes?
Would you have your cake?
And would you eat it?

Would you save a life?
Or give up yours?
Would you take that chance?
Or leave that door unopened?

Who amongst us gathered here,
Would do all this and more?
And is there a single soul out there,
Who’d do it all the same?

Abs.

Me!? Weird!? Never!!

This is quite lovely and provokes thought, other than
"Would you have your cake?
And would you eat it?" sounds slightly redundant.

Dont listen to Furius. I know what you meant. You're not ready yet, but you will be one of these days. Good luck.

Hmmm....
Abbie,

This poem seemed like you were trying to get a message out. It goes back to what in your life would you change, and what would you leave the same. But if you change the things that hurt and bring pain; will the things that bring happiness and joy even exist and if they do, will they be as sweet, without knowing pain. *looks around* *kicks annoying little Zen master that snuck into head*. Ahm, sorry 'bout that little run off of the track. Anyways, good work and all.

Later,
Dras

well
unless anyone had noticed the entire thing is a cliche. This thing has been done before in movies and such so many times it becomes the 'cliche', thats what that particular line was all about. Basically i was sayin, "Yes, yes i know it's an old topic, its been done, but ya still gotta wonder!" I'll be more clear next time. shrug.
