"I wanna go home"
A lost child cries
Nothing unusual there
Except she's sitting in her room
Home isn't where I'm sitting, she says
Not this empty house
Home isn't a place
It's a feeling of being
Like no matter what, Home will shelter you from reality
And it's safe
and warm
Until "reality" comes crashing through your front door.
And your house isn't safe anymore
And now a girl sits in her room
and cries
and whispers to the forsaking skies
"I wanna go home."

Heaven doesn't want me and Hell's afraid I'll take over.

This peice reminds me just how much i've missed your work lately. I really like your writing. It remins me of what i'd write like if i wrote poetry instead of lyrics. Please, PLEASE keep up the good work.
