Shades in green and blue hues
But lavender skies they run under
like a child's spirit
Inhabiting a weathered demeaner
They run they shout like clouds flying high
Orchestrating their new charged thoughts
And surged emotions
Erupting to form miles beneath their feet
And when their hearts should stop to beat
Another second of breath to breathe
The fallacy of life begin to melt
With no regrets that time speeds up
And no regrets that darkness comes
To engulf them up and swallowed them whole
into an abyss
Of a myriad of white and silver
shafts of gold and rainbow shores
The rich flood of memeories
What wealth and affluence a life they lived.

I was going to write the whole peom like that ( in poor lighting). Now wouldn't that be fun to read? :)

Not sure, but...
I don't understand this, but I don't need to. It invites images of thunderclouds and earth beauty. I really enjoyed this. Thanks.

hidden message perhaps?
I'm sure there is a deeper message in this poem, I guess it got lost in amidst the 'pretty words' lol thanks.

exactly! it grew from stil image i had!

Basically, ( ithink) its about "old" people or just ppl in general living in this world - shades of green and blue but running under a colour of their own, no care in the world, continually redefining life, enjoying and experiencing new emotions, living life then death takes a hold and darkness swallows them in, but it takes them to an even better place you see, they look back onto their life and realise wow - they lived a rich (not neccessarily in matarial terms ) life with no regrets ... rich memories that they take with them into the dark..something like this, -

Is this generally the idea people get when reading this or did it just sound like meaningless babble? curious.

maybe i should have written it to convey a meaning /point better to an 'audience'....

Thank you for all your commentss.
