Chilly day with blustery winds
thru open window blowin’, blowin’ in.
Trees are dancing to and fro
colors wavin’, wavin’ rust and gold.

Sun is shining and the day is bright
how I love, love golden October light.
Apple harvest, fallen leaves, Mother Earth
autumn scents bolster, bolster hopes and mirth.

From my window not far away I can view
vast harbor with water so, so indigo blue.
White caps on top of meager waves
reminds me of icing, icing on a cake.

Not far is salt and sand where sea meets beach
I walk and dream, dream and I beseech.
Urged on by wave’s cadence upon the shore
this pilgrim treks, treks on asking what more?

This is great! I'm always glad I've stopped to read your stuff. I'd rate it a 10, but I don't know how :( Do you know?

The word repetition is masterful. Brings to mind those poetry nights at my school. I am still studying these methods.
