Itís almost silent here
except for his snuffling
and kervetching--
the last signs of a
fleeing head cold.
I want to wake him,
so he wonít be up
all night.
But then I look again,
and
I want to crawl in
with him,
under the red blanket
that smells too much
like us
and gives away too many
of our secrets.
My computer calls
out to me, and
my fingers itch to create
something
(to make deadlines happy)
but the morning lump
under the covers
centered right below his navel
has a stronger pull.

------
I need to make more coffee.

No brainer.................
The deadlines can wait an hour or so ;)From a guys perspective. Very easy to follow. Nicely written.
