author's note: don't you think this poem is better when it's shortened like this and not as too wordy or stretched out?

I could rant about some lesser word,
Some feeling that could turn a cord.
Yet why bother with such a fact
When a greater philosophy is in tact.
Anger by all is the greatest fear,
Most turning jeer.
Will such things come to end?
Or will they move on, and
Torture people as it does.

So much better, except for the last line. Maybe you should complete the rhyming scheme?
