There was an old man
with heavy grey eyebrows
and kind, pale eyes
And as he swayed in
his rocking chair, collecting dust,
He had said to me-

"Listen well child;
Living is easy
We seldom know that
But if we hold onto each others hands
surely we won't get lost
And someday, someday
We all will be molded perfectly
within the body of God"

With my eyes brimmed with tears,
my throat thick
dense as asphalt
His simple coating of life
never left me
when his body did

[Notes: Eh, I don't like this one. I'll try making rhyming poetry someday.]

------
Fingers and toes, OH NOES!
