Twin
The first thing that came to mind when I read this was would you be satisfied if they were? Would the world over run with chaos seem to be stable had you seen a twin among the red? Two identical structures dyed red beckoning a return to home or of a new beginning.

of course I wouldn't be. Different things at every step, even on the way back home, could make us happy and could means a challenge...if we notice that are different.
