With oil of myrrh and coriander,
And scent of heady cardamom,
Ill anoint and compliment her,
My queenly Lady Cinnamon.

In the theater, in velvet mauve,
With her earl, yet she's so alone,
Her perfume, Catherine Deneuve.
Leads me to Lady Cinnamon.

Dinner table, hush. Professors talk,
Our feet touch, I hear her moan.
Shes wearing Jessica McClintock.
Tonight, my Lady Cinnamon!

I crawl and swim to her, blindfolded -
The earl loves hemp, to urge him on-
I burn rope, he sleeps cuckolded,
I reap thee, Lady Cinnamon.

I at least have peer when it comes to short poetry, but your lines are often very good, making me sigh with envy.

Very good poem, Teflon.

Eh
Great write? And "10's" for this? I don't get it.
I wish somebody could explain to me what's so good about this. This seems like the potential for something good, perhaps the beginning but that's it. But that's just me.

scent.
Wonderful poem, teflon, made more special by the insightful points raised by windchime. Teases the brain, but in a good way. And I learned what an anagram is; another toy for the arsenal.

Best regards.

hemp?
Does burning hemp have the same effect as it's product? Was he inducing sleep in the earl while he ravaged his lady?

It's really thought provoking the way it is, to tell more may spoil the readers fun of reading between the lines. I like the things not said in this poem.

I would have missed the capitals and lower case meanings. I am glad it was pointed out.

But isn't an anagram a word spelled completely backwards? Anna is an anagram.
