My own mind can see the back of your head
the precise way your neck curves up
to the area where
your hair gives way to flesh

I can hear your hundred million whispers
(so vividly!)
gentle and full of warmth
like the golden-red setting sun

My nerves swear to God
that they've felt your chilled fingertips
sprawling love's caresses
across my back

In light of recent chattering
I'm engulfed in wondering
and as it follows, questioning
all those images, sounds, and feelings
senses could not have been completely deceived

...or could they?

The only clarity you have left to me
is the consistant contridiction
of a hundred million voices
saying that they knew
your honesty.

"God grant me distraction."

Thank you lilia. I was sort of hoping for a good, stable flow. This is a very new piece though and I'm glad to see that it's already working towards it's intended effect. =D
