Here am I once more
Ever closer do I drift
Towards your sorrowed face
Carrying my nightly gift
Of forgotten mist
From the mountains on high
Maintained by the master of slumber
On who restful nights rely

Hidden deep within this
Viel of watered air
I descend from the silent hills
And through the light I tear
To bring you back to me
To drag you back into your dreams
Lay, be at peace once again
Before the morning redeems
The lands it lost to me
Here, dwell in comfort long
'Ere life returns to beat you down
Obey, and I shall keep you strong

Leave your troubles at your life
I hold within my aged hide
A sacred rite, a secret way
To this dark you may confide
Whatever you want, whatever you may wish
As you sleep in my cloak of night
Though the day may seek to banish
All your dreams, rely on me to renew

------
Stay metal!

dreams
ok Mr dream merchant, this was comforting to know that there are positive forces who watch us as we sleep, me I prefer nightmares, it helps me deal with the daily realities when I awake.. But a soothing piece nonetheless.......Bob:)
