Cancer is a subject I take greatly to heart. my friends husband is now becoming increasingly worse.

I shall pass this on to my US friends, as I don't think this is happening in the UK.

Hey, you thanks, a bunch,,, Just wanted to pass the information on. I received it from my Aunt.
Every little bit helps. Cancer can be a battle, but with more research maybe someone we love can be cured.If not the ones we know now, someone down the road.
I can never forget those horrible words from when I worked as a nurse, taking care of children , young adults and elderly who have experienced the scare....and the scars from cancer,including families feeling hopeless who didn't want to say goodbye.
Someone I dearly love and respect is fighting it now, and my son's grandmother fought the battle as well, I won't ever forget her last words....."dont let him forget me",,,
I speak softly of her, to my son as often as I can,remembering her strength as a woman ....No one can go through life without a disagreement atleast once,,but she and I made a pack together One day, giving each other the ease of heart with benefit of doubt when situations of divorce made it easy to think negative.
There were so many things she did to bless my life that I never had the chance to say,How ever she knew in the end how much I admired her kindness and her ability to forgive as well as ask for ,,forgiveness.
She still teaches me things in my life ,although she has been gone for some time now...Pressed flowers I still have in a Bible that she placed there.....I have never met another woman like her .. I wonder if I ever will.

Cancer, hits close to home
I am grateful I came to read this, following Claire, Sh!! don't let her know I am her shadow today...LOL>..only on this, just joking.
CoCo, I had to have a hysterectomy at 30, was terrible, in the hospital for 6 surgeries after,,,and for the better of 6 months.
My Uterus was removed just in time. I had ultrasounds and test and still do to make sure..
This is the ONLY kind of battle I want to ever fight,,,and never again, but...

Thanks claire, havent been able lately to log in to my account, I have to wait for a comment or two so I can join in, I can submit but not through my id log,. I to fell against the knife. some time ago, something I have tryed to put behind me but each time I feel a twinge, I flinch.
That was terrible to face, but the worst part was wondering who would take care of my son who had no father that wanted to be with him, and he had just lost his grandmother from cancer. He was only 5 yrs. old.
I had hoped God would let me live to see my grandchildren,though I had been given virtually no hope He must have seen I wasnt ready or heaven wasnt ready for me.
I wanted so badly to see my son grow strength to fly on his own as his older sisters did, Though I cant share any of the glory Im still proud of them for their strength as women.
My son will soon be going to college although he may face a hanidcap from a bad accident, he has no handicap in life.
I said in my heart I would be ready to go home,if he was old enough to live alone but when faced with something lately, I begged to stay,,, how long I have no clue,, just wanted to say I love you to some loved ones that may have forgotten that I do,''''' we grow so far away but its never to late to say I LOVE YOU>>>> just sending a prayer sometimes for the LORD to bless them will do....even if they never know it was you,
I had prayed for three members of my family and friends about something they were facing, I asked that if it be his will,please not let them suffer illness, but take me instead if someone really needed to go,,,,, I thank the Lord these three are still with us, scarred maybe but still healing,,,, We cant imagine when its our turn what we will feel, we may fear death, but through christ, death has no sting. Keep being Ladies,, through your type hearts we all can live forever on earth, and through the promise of the Bible we can live forever more.
