-_-_Isn't it Strange_-_-

Isn't it strange how we can cook and clean all
day. Prepare the most extravagant meal for our husbands then light the candles, lay down the plates, sit down and have nothing to say.

You only sit thinking is this worth the trouble to have one who does not care to ask how your day was. Who can only mutter the words "Thanks Hun, that was good I'm going too go watch TV now"

Isn't strange how we can listen to the candidates speak yet hear them say nothing of a consistent manner. Isn't it strange how we forget the past four years, and the next are always seen as being so much better.

Isn't strange that Bush is blamed for NAFTA when Clinton signed it into being before leaving office. Isn't strange how someone can steal an election yet we grow as I have to love him and support him.

Isn't it strange how oil and daddy's revenge can kill men and start wars that have no reason? Isn't it strange how we have opened our heart to the people of Afghanistan and Iraq and helped them so much to improve their life?

Isn't it oh so strange that we as Americans are so loving and want to help everyone in the world no matter what they have done to us. I am proud to be an American because we try our best to save, help and support others.

Isn't it strange that people are strange and think that they are not, yet noone knowing what is normal. The wondrous Einstein was strange but he was a pure genius. What would have happened if he had been put on Ritalin or Wellbutrin as a child? Would we still have been harbor to the wonderment of his mind? Would the physics community be the same without his contributions to science.

Isn't it strange how I have used the words Isn't it strange eleven times so far in one rant? I could have used Isn't it Weird or Isn't it Odd but that would just be too crazy. hehe :D

Isn't it strange that I must end this rant because I am strange and begin it again another time? If Time exists in me, then I exist in Time.

Isn't it strange how I tricked you into thinking that I was going?

No, No, No I'm serious now I'm leaving.

strange indeed
Most of this was quite right, and quite funny. However, I didn't get one part about being proud to be an American because we "try our best to help others". Huh? I certainly am not picking up on that coming from America. But hey, maybe its just me.

Anyhow, very nicely done.

paradox
I read this and saw a mixture of personal and national issues. All entwined together. This has just reminded me that politics IS personal, and not some entity way up there out of reach.

Thank you for that

P.S. My partner and I always try and do alot without the other person there, not to be cruel, but so we still have our own lives aswell each others, it's nice to have that 'you' time.

Alex :-)
