How many beautiful colors can you see?
On that rainbow above the trees?
Said it was that a pot of gold,
Lies at the end in a fairytale old.

How many beautiful colours can you see?
On that rainbow above the trees.
From a land that no-one knows,
Where it comes and where it goes.

This is such a mystery,
But let's just all now wait and see,
I wonder who can tell us more,
About the rainbow above the trees.

welcome greenleaves
Hi Greenleaf. I enjoyed this but felt it could have been longer. It feels incomplete as though there is more about the rainbow that you could say. And maybe the last two lines need to rhyme. They don't have to, but it might work better to finish it off. It feels like the beginning to a thread that someone else might now expand upon. That someone should be you maybe? Congratulations on your first post and welcome. Hope to see more on the rainbow or other poems. smithy
