Random lights in the darkness, fight
The desire to count them all individually
Each light represents a different world
A tiny sparkle in the distance
From everyone else, a shell

Light is life, tangible
Representation of the progression obtained
Where there is light there is, life
Ends with the flip of a switch

There is something I can't quite pin down here. Almost all your sentences can be split a number of way's and have a new sense. If that was what you intended then congrat's. I liked the line 'life ends with a flip of the switch', as if light is interchangeable with life. I notice that you managed to avoid all the obvious cliché's on light. regards huni.

That is precisely what I was aiming for. :)

Thank you for your praise.
