No more immortals
No legacy to tell
About this land
Abandoned by the soldiers

No more songs rising
Above the fallen stone
No more hope
To bring the heroes home

No more kings of men
All taken with the force
Of marching soldiers gone
No sons to carry on

No life to keep alive
Nothing shifts the dirt
Not a single thing remains
Look at what I have done

The unhindered wind
Breaking the calm, whispers to me,
The lord of this war-torn land,
"We have no masters here"

Stay metal!

Your probably going to think I am really thick, but what is this poem about? I really want to know.

Alex :-)

Nah, you're not thick. I have to explain most of my poems anyhow, I think its a flaw in my writing. This really isn't about anything specific, its just about a man who has conquered everything, but has, in reality, won nothing.
