Water meter, heat ducts
beams and struts
ground level window
with a view of God's Eye
surrounded by tree tops
and circumstance
who could have imagined
in snow bound, snow man
toledo 1950's stickney avenue
I would ever face prison
now in a basement- whistler's reverie
facing the row maybe
only God'll keep me free
How sad I didn't know how
to be a lover
to be a dad
to be a God fearing man
until after the damage
and periferal damage still falling
or all those saddened by
my misadventure
ill-advised indulgence
I'm bettin' my tomorrow
on the truth settin me free!

Love at all times!
