Time Machine

I am the time machine.
Moving in and out
keeping pace with the momentum
wandering in doubt.

I have evolved beyond a fantasy.
Captured spiders in my webs.
Dusted shelves of living dirt
as the ocean flows and ebbs.

I lingered in hells darkness.
keeping hidden in the shadow.
Learning of the ways of doom
where lava bubbles babble.

I swim in oceans plenty
wash my sins in salty sea.
Strip myself down to bare flesh
to the barest part of me.

I have hailed in heaven's glory
with all her riches sweet
lavished in her golden charm
made myself complete.

I will travel through the ages
for I am the time machine.
there is no wealth in earthly things
unless everything stays green.

This is a very nice poem...I Love the rhythm to it and the vibe you brought to it.

Good write !
I quite like this. Great flow throughout it. I like the old school rhythm a lot as it is really fitting with the subject matter and it seems to sway about. Not very ground-breaking but good nonetheless...
