I woke up this morning,
Thinkin' of you,
So I rolled out of bed
To see how in the world
I could see you again.

These words started rollin',
I couldn't quite stop,
It just got stuck in my head,
And wouldn't get out
'Till I wrote it down for you.

Key's in the ignition,
Got a song in my heart,
And your love to keep me goin'
And where I'm gonna stop
Is where your soul tells me too
'Cause I know I've got this feeling
That you'll lead me
Back home again.

I feel your spirit moving me,
I can't let it go,
And your fire keeps me warm tonight.
My dear, I'm so inspired by you,
I just can't keep from telling the world
That I'm in love.

I close my eyes and think of you,
I see you lookin' right into me,
Our lives intertwine, once again.
With every word you say to me,
I just can't get enough of you,
I'm crazy, oh, I know, but it's true.

And all I can do
Is keep drivin' 'till you tell me you're here.

Key's in the ignition,
Got a song in my heart,
And your love to keep me goin'
And where I'm gonna stop
Is where your soul tells me too
'Cause I know I've got this feeling
That you'll lead me
Back home again.

Suddenly, I hit the brakes,
I feel your essence calling me,
I know that this is where we can be.
I see your face,
I kiss your lips,
And finally, I know, yes,
Finally I've found my home!

I look into your loving eyes,
And see all the things in the world
I'd ever want to know.
I've figured it out for myself,
I've worked out all the words,
But all that comes out is
'I love you.'

Now there's no more need to travel,
You're the song in my heart
And your love's what keep me goin'
And I finally I stopped
Where your soul told me too
'Cause I knew I had this feeling
That you'd lead me
Back home again.

'He who knows others is learned. He who knows himself is wise.'
-Lao Tzu

'Tomorrow will take us away,
Far from home--
No one will ever know our names,
But the bards' songs will remain.
Tomorrow, all will be known,
And You're not alone,
So don't be afraid
In the dark and cold
'Cause the bards' songs will remain.
They all will remain
In my thoughts and in my dreams
They're always in my mind....
Come close Your eyes;
You can see them, too.'
