the picture blog
I already submitted a picture. It is of me, as a matter of fact. I don't knwo what came of it. I even provided my own comment: "Teflon holds up an object that not so long ago was used to write books."

Claire, post da pikchuh
Claire, please post here a picture of a curious nature and I will keep this as a pictorial blog.

I meant the picture of myself to be the pinata, but that wasn't clear in my message.

Thanks.

A pic -- where do I upload it to?
I have to upload it to a specific location on Lit.org, don't I?
And then hyperlink it by HTML, maybe?

Thank you all for your help. The thread starts hereunder:

It was a perfect night.
The tie matched the bunting.
The shirt starched and pressed and felt great.
He brought along a trunkful of books.
The book signing was going swimmingly.
Suddenly...

4 things
1) Glad I could help

2) the pic isn't there anymore. Ivor's and mine still are, but yours is gone. Is it just me?

3) I think you should start a whole new thread, since this one's a mess. Maybe make this the 'shout out' thread?

4) Jess: I actually think this is a very good writing exercise. If people start going crazy posting pics, then deal with them accordingly. But I don't see a pic every once an awhile being a problem. Afterall, why else would Chris have given us the option? That's my view at least.

( Posted by: eleutheromaniac [Member] On: August 22, 2004 )

@ Jessica
I uploaded the pic to my yahoo Briefcase, however, the hyperlink only works once.

( Posted by: Teflon [Member] On: August 22, 2004 )

the solution:
Could a member of the staff place the picture of me at the start of the blog?

( Posted by: Teflon [Member] On: August 22, 2004 )

Jessica
Jessica,

Sorry, you can delete mine if you wish and I would like you to do so. I had no idea what this was about, just saw a thread at the exact time I was seeing how pictures were posted.

The pictures are of course posted on other sites and are just linked here, but like you I feel that except for a small picture stratigically pasted ie: a logo, it is better to stick to writing.

no sweat, Jess
No prob, everyone take their own time, don't want to overload the resources or the staff.
Thanks for all the time you and Claire took to address it.
