Unfolding (ethere)

Like shades of meaning tangled in a rush-
a heady kaleidoscope of words,
colors, and wonted dreams- I am
winded by the burgeoning
of a swollen river
or a maple leaf
caught in a whirl
Something in me
has broken
loose- Ah!
feel like
a foundling
trying new limbs
The crispy stains on
my red flamenco skirt
look pretty against the light
I have lost my shoes in the race
and turmoil of variegated life
I am unfolding- now…seconds before the swim…

I feel indifferent by the reading, but the very shape of the poem is very cool how it is in a shape of unfolding.
