We walk our paths just fine and spin each web of time/ we are our own patterns of everything we deeply love, of every twist and turn within our minds and every defect as well/ we can be as beautiful as the ocean or as ugly as death/

To us, beauty is in the eye which is a part of us. Art is beauty and nature is art/ and I can sit down forever wondering why you chose to ignore these simple facts.

Why don’t you open up your eyes and see there is so much more than the little American life you’re living, more to life than the color of your nails, more to living than watching t.v?

Our minds are molded by our up-bringing and what ever knowledge we accumulate on our own/ we are only as intelligent as we want to be, nobody can take our minds away/ a wise person will find a way out of the simple dilemmas and obstacles of life, realizing our freedom and that each one of us is unique, we just have to discover who we are.

Because beauty is in the eye which is a part of us. Art is beauty, nature is art and I can sit down forever wondering why you choose to ignore these facts, these reasons to live.

Why don’t you open up your mind and see there is more to life than the style of your clothes, more to living than the malls you choose to shop at? I can sit down forever wondering why you choose to wander, oblivious to these facts, these reasons to live. I can sit down forever and wonder as you wander in your reasons to live.

bliggity blah blah blah
this is the second time i post this one up thanks to an error on my own account. i wrote this 2 years and 2 months ago, shortly after i fell in love with the world (nature) as i mentioned previously to claire, i am not generalizing here. it is about a whole type of ppl and the two i am addressing in this song/poem are an old friend and an old GF. it's about ppl who are confined to the television and material things and have no passions for anything else such as nature or art.
