And the ink-dipped brush
was illuminating
the unearthly fantasies
of the artistic mind..

with pools of red
and droplets of black;
fall into a window
of treasured secrets...

all belonging to
some distant corner
in the graveyard of time..

the rich colors seeping
among the white masses..

the flustered genius
whispers silently through
his portrait...
