Alright, I wasn't going to post anything today about this, but there are two people on this site that have, on your own, made this a birthday worth remembering in a time of immense difficulty in my life. Tina and Claire, thank you both so much. Today has...well, for lack of a better term, sucked, until I came online. Then, I realised how fortunate I am that I came upon this community of talented writers and outright wonderful people. You are both incredible, as human beings, as individuals, as writers, and, very importantly, as friends. I hope that, one day, I'll be able to meet you both face to face and show you how much your friendship means to me. To both of you, never lose your spark, either for life, or for writing. Never lose the desire and ability to love and care about others. I look forward to my next twenty years, hopefully all of which will include you as an integral part of my life. You're both invited to see me conduct in Vienna when I finally make it. I'll fly you out, personally.

Namaste, my dear friends,
'He who knows others is learned. He who knows himself is wise.'
'Tomorrow will take us away,
Far from home--
No one will ever know our names,
But the bards' songs will remain.
Tomorrow, all will be known,
And You're not alone,
So don't be afraid
In the dark and cold
'Cause the bards' songs will remain.
They all will remain
In my thoughts and in my dreams
They're always in my mind....
Come close Your eyes;
You can see them, too.'
