She stands tall and proud
Her enemies before her
Her Warriors behind her
Blades battle ready
Unified as One
Their hearts and hands
Their blood and blades
Raised to the Phantom Queen, Morrigan

The air stilled beyond whisper
Her voice deadly soft
She immerses her blade in the ground
“The Earth runs with blood
Gives life through the dying
Hope through defeat
Born in each child crying
Into death each warrior sighing
We take of the land
To the land we return
Honour to the ancestors
The Tuatha de Dannan”

In an instant the silence roars
Battle cries ring out
She leads her Warriors into War.

facing death
De'esse, this poem is has such sharp description that my hair is standing on end and goosebumps have formed on my arms. Very well done.
