Summer storms
reflecting fertile sky
the fallow field

"I place these moments in my pocket
to be pulled
at the rush of noon,
the crush of three...
when tears come,
when words must learn to be enough..." MKL

Haiku ^_^
This is a cute little piece ^_^ but i wonder at using the title in the actual piece, when you have only 3 short lines with which to express the essence of your subject?

Haiku and titles
Hello, De`esse,

It's nice to 'meet' you! Thank you for stopping by to read my haiku and for your question.

Actually, haiku are not supposed to be titled at all. Off the web, mine are not 'titled', either, except for the date they were written.

Many people title them online because, for one, most sites ask for a title when submitting, and secondly, it makes it easier to identify it amongst the other offerings. Being that haiku are so short and that the 'title' is being used to indentify the piece, it is just about necessary to use something that is within the haiku itself.

Again, thanks for asking a question that tells everyone a bit more about haiku!
